The challenge
A global pharmaceutical organisation needed to move 2,800 devices away from legacy on-premises management to a cloud-only model, without disrupting a regulated business.
What I did
- Designed and delivered management with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and Entra ID.
- Implemented Autopilot to replace a long manual build.
- Packaged and deployed Win32 applications with dependency chains and detection rules.
- Worked within ITIL change processes, with documentation suited to a regulated environment.
The outcome
- Zero-downtime migration of 2,800 devices to cloud-only management.
- Provisioning time cut from 2 hours to 30 minutes.
